Cleaning and Reforestation

Since November 2020, we’ve been engaged in an extensive clean-up, community beautification and reforestation project. To date, we have planted more than 5,000 trees and clean up more than 9 km of roads at the end of each year. Not only does this work help to beautify the community, it also considerably reduces the number of road accidents.

  • Mobile Clinic

    On April 22, 2022, in collaboration with the Association Aquinoise (ASA), GDEC organized a mobile clinic in Duverger, in the first section of Aquin. Eight doctors and nurses joined forces to care for over 300 patients, providing vital access to healthcare.

  • The “Planter la Vie” nursery

    Inaugurated on March 4, 2023 and mainly financed by the Ministère des Relations Internationales de la Francophonie (MRIF), this nursery covers 1,000 m² and houses around 7,000 forest and fruit seedlings. Their destination? To reforest our communities and protect the environment for future generations.
