At GDEC, we believe deeply in the power of sustainable change and the strength of community involvement. Since our creation in June 2020, we have worked tirelessly to promote education, support youth development, encourage agricultural innovation and protect the environment in the first and fourth sections of the Commune d’Aquin. Every achievement, from the “Planter la Vie” nursery to our mobile clinics and extensive clean-up and reforestation projects, is the fruit of hard work and the generosity of those who believe in our mission.

However, the needs of our communities are immense and continue to grow. That’s why your support is so important. Every gesture, large or small, brings us a little closer to our vision of leadership in providing services to the communities we serve.

Financial donations are the lifeblood of our operations. Every euro, dollar or gourde enables us to fund our projects on the ground in Haiti, purchase materials for our nurseries, provide medicines for our mobile clinics or support our educational initiatives. Your contribution, whatever its size, has a direct and measurable impact.

1. Become a Volunteer: Share your time and skills!
   Do you have time, skills or energy to offer? Volunteering is an invaluable form of support. Whether it’s helping out at our events in Canada, participating in our reforestation projects in Haiti, contributing your communications expertise, or simply lending a helping hand, your human contribution is invaluable.

2. Take part in our events: Atmosphere and solidarity! Every year, GDEC organizes a Benefit Barbecue in Canada. It’s a great opportunity to meet us, share a convivial moment and contribute directly to our fundraising efforts. 3. Soutien de Tous Genres: Every gesture counts! You can’t donate money or volunteer directly, but you’d like to help? Here are some other ideas:

   • Spread the word: Tell your friends and family about GDEC, and share our publications on social networks. Raising awareness is a great help!
   • Partnerships: If you represent a company, foundation or institution and share our values, consider a partnership with GDEC. Together, we can amplify our impact.
